RACING STANDARD

RACING STANDARD started with this question, "How do we help Motocross and Supercross athletes stay healthier for longer, while maintaining the highest level of competitive racing?"

Our Mission

Our primary purpose is to ensure a safe and consistent on-track racing environment. This allows for higher quality racing and an increased fan experience. We believe that by having defined racing standards and protocols for rider safety, track design and track building, we will see fewer rider injuries, and more competitive and consistent racing by riders of all levels — from the first race of the season, to the final championship round.

The Company

Founded by Trey Canard in 2017, Racing Standard is a rider advocacy organization consisting of motorcycle industry veterans, business executives, and talented contributors with one goal in mind — keeping athletes healthier for longer through best-practice safety and track building standards for Motocross and Supercross racing. Our core focus includes all aspects of race track preparedness and event communications relating to rider safety.

Testimonials

For a long time, we have talked about the need to have someone represent the riders regarding track obstacles and safety, like they have in Moto GP. A big problem is the time it takes to do it right. We also need to avoid having it attached to one particular team or some group interest. Racing Standard is the perfect candidate to do this. They can provide on-site expertise at the highest level during the build, which allows for the necessary corrections before race day. We have a perfect opportunity to take a big step forward in improving safety and the quality of racing.
